Company Branding & Marketing - Logo Design
Company Logo
In today’s highly competitive world a company logo is so important.
It is one of the elements that makes your company unique and helps
separate your product or service from the competitors. It’s
important that you get this right. The logo should be designed so
that it completely reflects the aspirations and aims of the company.
It needs to be appealing, powerful and persuasive, catching the
eye, and in time, becoming your sole brand identity.
Our skilled and experienced professionals help you to create your own company identity, one that tells the world clearly who you are. Of course, before any creative work begins in the studio, there is real work to do talking with you, the client.
We need to know who you are and what products or services you provide. We need to know your aims and what image you are trying to project to your prospective clients. Once we have the necessary background information, then we can move to the design stage.
Creating your brand identity
The design artwork is composed of several components – colour,
text and sometimes, but not always, image. The exact composition
and interaction between the components is what makes a good logo,
great.
Sometimes the design can come easy. Other times, even the simplest
design can have a long gestation period before the designer and
client are happy with the result. The seemingly simple but powerful
Nike logo took the creator days to produce. Of course, along the
way many other designs were created, only to be binned before everyone
was pleased with the result - the now famous ‘swoosh’
or sweeping tick logo. Whatever the final outcome, we work until
you are completely satisfied with your new logo, and your new identity.

The ideal logo should indicate the type of service or product the
company offers in a powerful and persuasive manner. There is obviously
a need for creativity, using text, and sometimes images, to create
the biggest impact.
The image doesn’t necessarily need to be exactly representative
of the goods or services sold. For example, a company selling cars
doesn’t necessarily have a car in the logo design.
Good examples of companies indicating their company values rather
than their goods or services include some of the most well known
logos. For example, Nike and Adidas sportswear, Toyota cars, Amazon
books, Apple computers... None feature the product, but all were
designed to say “this is us…”
This is our company logo, simple, straightforward, but effective.
